RSS Feeds
RSS is a standardized format used to publish frequently updated digital content, such as blogs, news feeds or Rally Congress Action Center pages.
Users of RSS content use programs called feed 'readers' or 'aggregators': the user 'subscribes' to a feed by supplying to their reader a link to the feed; the reader can then check the user's subscribed feeds to see if any of those feeds have new content since the last time it checked, and if so, retrieve that content and present it to the user.
del.icio.us
Owned by Yahoo, del.icio.us allows users to save their favorite site bookmarks online, and gives users the ability to "tag" their bookmarks with descriptive
category names. These tags help organize content on the site and let other users find the Action Center page and other related content.

site. At that point, the Digg audience can vote on whether or not they
think it is interesting. Articles with lots of votes, or "diggs," rise
up higher on the site's main page and topical subsection pages.
