Important Briefing: Ask Your Representative to Attend

As your constituent, I'm calling today to encourage a member of your staff attend a critical Capitol Hill briefing on the SSPICE Act, which gives Americans more control over the money they put into Social Security. The SSPICE Act also provides a solution to the expiring payroll tax holiday.

The briefing is in Cannon Building, Room 345, on Thursday, February 16th from 10:00 to 11:00 AM.

The Chief Actuary of Social Security has stated that the SSPICE Act will reduce the Social Security’s unfunded obligations by $2.1 trillion over the 75-year window.

Please, as your constituent, I'm asking that one of your staffers attend this important briefing on the SSPICE Act.

Thank you.

Did not know if Duncan was scheduled to attend meeting. Gave me email address for his scheduler to contact. caleb.paxton@mail.house.gov. I will send email to ask if Rep. Duncan is attending.
takled with local office, DC office & emailed Leigh to schedule the briefing
The office aide seemed more concerned with my address than the briefing.
The gal who answered his phone wanted to know more of the particulars of the briefing and when it was scheduled, etc. She said she would get the into to him and tell him I called.
Office Aide said he would definitely remind the congressman about the briefing.
His office aide also suggested I e-mail the scheduler at adair.gregory@mail.house.gov, to get either the Rep. or a legislative aide to attend. It is rather short notice...
