taxation without repesentation.
While doing this you should also reduce the taxes paid to this state by active duty military and retired military personnel. Most military people maintain their state residency while in the service and get no benefits, yet they are still taxed at a normal rate with very little offset. Way to thank those that serve.
MItch is hitting another one out of the park and doing the "RIGHT" thing for Hoosiers.
Anything that hinders the expansion of government is a good thing. Boost the economy by letting the citizens keep more of their money.
SUPPORT THE BILL!!!!!!!
While it seems natural for governments to spend all
they can in the guise of 'serving' the public, they really
are only doing it for self-gratification. I am all for those
in government "butting" out of the lives of citizens,
both on state and federal levels. By all means, if
they take more than they should, then they should
return it (with interest). After all, if we don't pay on
time, they don't hesitate to charge interest on our
'debt' to them. By all means, vote for HB 1001.
Let's get gpverment under control - both state and
federal.
What are you kiddn that this didn't get passed.
You all are weak.
Items in the State Budget are often overstated to allow for projects to get accomplished when unexpected expenses become an obstacle. This way, when the funded items gets done under budget, which can happen, the people get the money back. What a way to build confidence in State Government and their commitment to the people they serve
come on if the gas keeps going up we wont have any jobs cant afford to go to work and bring home the change thats left so lets try this
Sounds like a bill that we can use to inhibit excessive government that we could also use at the federal level.
Be an American not an international star!
For the republicans to not back this bill just shows both parties love taxing, spending and can't imagine returning any tax dollars to those that worked hard to earn it.
STOP spending unnecessary money. I can't and don't spend beyond my income and the government, be it state or federal, should not either. The Hoosiers of Indiana deserve their money back regardless if it is $1.00 or $100. Give it up and return it, you don't have any rights to it and no right to create senseless and costly projects or programs just because you have some extra money that actually belongs to the taxpayer.
It's time to do the "PEOPLES" work instead of the work of lobbyist and cronies.......Support HB 1001
Perhaps it is that Republicans oft forget their moorings are conservative....not the tax and spend antics of the democrats.

I urge you ..... to remember your promises. Support HB1001....

Elections DO have consequences, and remembering your pledges during campaigns is one of the things voters remember.
We the people are trying to distinquish the difference between the Democrats and the Republicans. Right now there doesn't seem to be any difference. Voting for HB1001 will let us know how to vote in the next election.
It makes a lot of sense which make it hard for some to understand what it really does.
Please support this bill.
It's the right thing to do for the tax payers in my humble opinion
I support any and all actions that will prevent excess governmental spending.
I truly feel our government officials have been taking advantage of taxpayers, loopholes, and red tape for decades.
I also feel that a change is way past due and am glad to see (the people) waking up.
By the people and for the people, not the other way around.

GOD BLESS AMERICA!!!
We use to get this in colorado,a refund.(Tabor bill)
Now they call IT SERVICE FEES.
What possible purpose is there in refusing to refund money when the state is in a significant surplus?
term limit
Due to higher gas prices revenue that was planned has been collected quicker by the state with extra revenue still coming in. The extra revenue could be put against owed taxes of the people of the state of indiana.
Talking about state taxes.
as the preident says " it's time to get some skin in the game"
